Biography

I am a French photographer residing near Paris. I practice photography since 1997.

My mentors are Bryan F. Peterson and Gerard Therin.

Since my early age, I am passionate about many subjects (volcanology, philosophy, history, astronomy, children and adults with a very high intellectual capacity, Asperger syndrome?). Astronomy is the starting point in my photographic adventure with the passage in the northern sky of the Hale-Bopp comet. Today, 100000 trips later, my portfolio count more 2000 pictures.

At the same time, I love the image processing and I operate in this area with delight since 2001. In astronomy as in photography, I used many softwares (Iris, Registax, Imerge, Photoshop, Gimp, Virtual Studio, DXO Optics Pro, Picture It !,...).

Since 2009, I'm mainly known in France for my cows photographs.
Fascinated by this animal, I am interested in
Temple Grandin works.

Chronological list other remarkable photographic works :

  • Mars photographed through a telescope in August 2003
  • Venus transit across the Sun in June 2004
  • Deep sky with a refractor telescope SKYWATCHER 80/600 ED (2007 to 2010)
  • Worldwide recognition with my photos of Byzantine Basilica - Albert (France)
  • "Paths Remembrance" in tribute to the soldiers of the First World War 1914-1918
  • Panoramic image stitching
  • Reports in the region "Pays de Bray" (France) since 2009

Continually open to other new experiences. Since 2014, I increasingly integrates human and urban spaces night in my pictures.

Is there really a limit to the photographic power ?
